REMINDER - JUNIOR INFANTS ENROLMENT DEADLINE

Dear Parents and Guardians,
The enrolment deadline for children starting Junior Infants is approaching this Friday.
As you may be aware, the enrolment process has changed in recent years.

In the event that the school is oversubscribed, we are required to apply specific criteria when allocating places.
Where necessary, priority is given to children who have brothers or sisters currently enrolled in the school, followed by children living within the geographical parish of Westport, and then to those living closest to the school.
As the closing date is fast approaching, the Board of Management will review all completed applications received by the deadline and allocate places shortly afterwards.
We are simply sharing this reminder to ensure that no family unintentionally misses out. Even where there is already a brother or sister in the school, applications received after the closing date cannot be included in the initial allocation process.
If you have not yet submitted your child’s application, we would greatly appreciate if you could do so as soon as possible.
