First Confession
Congratulations to all the children who received the Sacrament of Reconciliation last  week.  First Communion will be held on Saturday 20th May.
Swimming for next Term

Swimming Dates for different classes are as follows:

Rang 5 Ms. Randles   -   commencing Wednesday 26th April for 8 weeks 9.30 - 10.15a.m

Rang 6 Mr Mulchrone -commencing Wednesday 26th April for 8 weeks 12.30 - 13.15p.m

Rang 5/6  Mrs Fleming commencing Thursday 27th April for 8 weeks at  11.30 - 12.15p.m

Rang 4  Mr Sammon    commencing Thursday 27th April for 8 weeks 12.30 - 13.15p.m

Rang 1/2 Ms. Heneghan commencing Friday 28th April for 8 weeks  9.30 - 10.15am

Rang 2 Ms. Timlin - commencing Friday 28th April for 8 weeks at 11.15 - 12.00p.m   

Please note that all swimming fees of €25 per child can be paid on line directly to the school.   

St. Patrick's Day
Please note school closures  Friday 17th March and also Monday 20th March
World Book Day
Congratulations to all the boys and girls who dressed up as their favourite character for World Book Day. The children enjoyed the event very much and thanks to the parents who helped so much with the costumes.  It was a wonderful day for all. 
Seachtain na Gaeilge
There are  various activities happening in school over the last  two weeks to celebrate Seachtain Na Gaelige.  Lots of damhsa, trá na gCeist, ceol agus craic.   Bígi ar labhairt cúpla focal.  
Friends for Life Course
Course by Joanne Frehill will be held in the Quay School on Wednesday 15th and Wednesday 22nd March.  
Sensory Processing Course
There will be a course for parents who have children with Sensory Processing Needs in the Gaelscoil on March 28th from 6.30 to 8.30 p.m
SOCCER
Congratulations to the boys and girls from Scoil Phádraig who took part in the Spar FAI 5-a side last week.  The boys won the West Mayo round and qualified for Mayo on 30th March.
