WORLD BOOK DAY 5TH MARCH

We are excited to be celebrating World Book Day on Thursday 5th March.

As part of the celebrations, children are invited, if they wish, to dress up as a book character of their choice. They are also welcome to bring in the book that features their chosen character to share in class. 

We would like to emphasise that there is no need to buy new costumes. We encourage children to use things they already have at home or to make simple, creative outfits that link to a favourite story or book character.

The focus of the day is on enjoying books and celebrating reading rather than on costumes.
